Oh Daddy dearest;

You are so loving, you are so understanding.

Cuz, me your child, a young man;

Must be so tiring, and so demanding.

I come to You saying;

I really need that, and I really want this.

Like You are a personal genie;

Who is there, just to grant my every wish.

So Discipline me oh Father;

Teach me Your holy and blameless ways.

Guide me oh Father;

 So I may walk in Your light in all my days.

Make me an example;

Let your kingdom be glorified through me,

So that my peers may see;

That there is nothing better than, giving their lives to Thee.

Inspired by Psalms 108:1-5 N.I.V

My heart is steadfast, O God;

I will sing and make music with all my soul.

With the last breath in my lungs, the final beat of my heart;

I shall give you my all.

Awake, harp and lyre!

I will awaken the dawn

As the sun is arising, above the horizon;

I shall greet it with a song.

I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations;

I will sing of you among the peoples.

For the LORD so dear, in my heart so near;

Has no rival has no equal.

For great is your love, higher than the Heavens;

Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

Your mercy and grace are truly blessings;

They give me the freedom of an eagle, to soar up high.

Be exalted, O God, above the Heavens;

For you hold sole control over all creation.

And let your glory be over all the earth;

Letting those who dearly and sincerely love you be blessed.

Our Father in Heaven, You are holy

I sing your praise and proclaim your glory

I stand on the highest mountain, on its tallest peak

So that as I shout and as I scream!

My voice travels throughout the land across the sea

And the world hears of my Lord, my Majesty

The Ruler of the Universe, the King of kings

Creator of mankind maker of all things

Allow your power to come down and dwell within me

So I may do your good works for all eternity

In your name proclaiming love and peace

Showing kindness and mercy to those in need

Yours shall be the glory for all those good deeds

For all honour belongs to you only indeed

I shall be your loyal servant for life

I say this in the name of your son Jesus Christ.

A poem inspired by 1 Corinthians verses 4-5

LOVE IS PATIENT,

For it is worth all the waiting

LOVE IS KIND,

For it never has evil in mind.

IT DOES NOT BOAST,

For self is never the one admired most.

IT IS NOT PROUD,

For it is humble and is never loud.

IT IS NOT RUDE,

For it is respectful and only speaks words that are good.

IT IS NOT SELF-SEEKING,

For it prays and hopes for alls’ well-being.

IT IS NOT EASLY ANGERED

For it is tolerant and well mannered.

IT KEEPS NO RECORD OF WRONGS,

For it forgives forgets and grows strong.

MALAWI

Malawi; the place to be

Malawi; the place for me

The land of my birth

Where I took my first breath

Opened my eyes for the first time

Was greeted with such a marvellous sight

Warm welcoming smiles of friendly, kind, humble people

Who were happy and content though they lived simple?

Whose traditions, culture, values

 Cuisine, beer and partying cannot be equalled.

We have so many talents, resources and skills,

So much potential to stack up those so elusive dollar bills,

We are the future; our own destiny is in our own hands,

Impossible is nothing yes we can.

FRET NOT YOURSELF BECAUSE OF THE WICKED

For the LORD detests their sickness

BE NOT ENVIOUS OF WRONGDOERS

For they shall get their just due, from the ruler.

FOR THEY WILL FADE LIKE THE GRASS

Be history like the years past

AND WITHER LIKE THE GREEN HERD

For the LORD’s justice is truly surpede

TRUST IN THE LORD AND DO GOOD

Treat every man as Christ would

SO YOU WILL DWELL IN THE LAND & ENJOY SECURITY

Shining the light, of spiritual maturity.

TAKE DELIGHT IN THE LORD

Always keeping your faith strong,

AND HE SHALL GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART

From His favour you shall never part.

COMMIT YOUR WAY TO THE LORD,

Helping his Kingdom grow

TRUST IN HIM, AND HE WILL ACT

BEGGING FOR MERCY

Motionless I lie,

On the brink of death

Without an ounce of strength

With one of the few of my last breaths

I pathetically manage to cry

Dear Lord, (sob, sob) please don’t let me die.

I know the activities, I indulged in

Were, well let’s put it like this; were basically suicide.

I knew that my actions, would eventually amount;

 To me crossing over; to the other darker side.

Where Lucifer and his cronies, demonic homies reside.

Where there aint no air-conditioning cause Escom disconnected the lights

So it is dark and scorching hot 24-7, unlike heaven.

 No day just blazing hot summer nights

Where Like KFC chicken wings, we constantly fry.

I don’t wanna to go to hell

Please Lord, save me!

I don’t wanna dwell

In the sulphur lake for all eternity!

Hear my pleas, save me, save me!

HeAVeN

Oh man! How I desire;

 To driiift away,

Rise up! Higher;

 And fly away.

To a faraway land

 To a distant place;

Where pain, sadness, tears and fears;

Disappear without a trace.

Where fantasies are realities;

And we live out our dreams.

You be who you wanna be;

Because you are free.

In a land of justice

Love, peace and equality;

Where men from all nations

Live in a brotherly harmony.

Where we are in the presence of our Lord;

Truly and fully, worshipping him.

The almighty sovereign Lord;

The one and only, elohim.

Capitalism

Capitalism is not! Synonymous with democracy,

It is rather, more like hypocrisy.

It doesn’t guarantee, justice and equality,

Only an exclusive few enjoy prosperity.

Only an elite few govern and make the rules.

And they are usually the ones who break the rules.

They hold all the power, so they do what they want to do.

Generally not giving a fuck; about the common man .i.e. me and you.

They consider themselves above the law and untouchable,

Therefore they are often unfair and sometimes quite cruel.

With no regard what so ever for the poor under privileged man

We are all created equal, all have rights; well they didn’t give a damn.

Multinational conglomerates run the show,

All they really want are large profits; cash is all they care for

So they are experts in manipulating governments, in order to make lots of doe.

For a quick buck they would sell their own mothers,

I dare say; most have already sold their souls.
